The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
